A. A domain name that you create when people time in WWW.YOURWEBSITE-NAME.COM or .NET .NET INFO .ORG there are other what we call “extensions” you can have to these and you can have more than 1 extension but you will pay more for each one. (note: .info’s are usually the cheapest extension to buy and .com’s are the most common)
Q. What is Web Hosting?
A. Web hosting refers to storing files needed for the Domain name to link to. A domain name links to a servers IP address that the websites files are located on. This services prices ranges on how much “space” and features including Bandwidth your files would need.

Q. How much does a Website Cost me yearly?
A. On average, a domain name costs about $9-$10 per year for webhosting for a small website yearly that’s about $60+ So you’re looking at spending $70 per year for your website.
Q. What is the first step I should make?
A. The first step for setting up your own website is to decide on a domain name (.COM .NET .INFO .ORG that you want) we recommend using Namecheap.com because it is simple and easy in comparison to Godaddy.com where they use much larger Bandwidth to run their sites software which can lengthen the time it should take to register.
Q. What is the Second Step I should make?
A. Finding a webhost to host your files. If you plan finding your own web host it’s important that you find a good reliable webhost that knows what they’re doing before you buy from them. We always recommend you find a webhost that uses cPanel control panels, its easy simple to manage all your emails, MySQL databases and basic website management features.
Note: when you sign up for your webhost you should obtain the Name servers which are generally:
NS1.YOUR-WEBHOST-DOMAIN.COM
NS2. YOUR-WEBHOST-DOMAIN.COM
This is important when you go to your domain registrar and link your domain to their hosting servers so your domain knows where the files are located on the server for your domain.
Q. What is the third Step I should make?
A. Right now at this point you should have a domain name and webhosting, your next step is to put the content together and make your website LIVE!! .
